Attorney James J. Morici, Jr.

Since 1979, Attorney James J. Morici, Jr. has stood by the sides of those harmed in serious accidents as well as individuals affected by the wrongful death of a loved one. Although he is skilled in various areas of personal injury law, Mr. Morici focuses the majority of his practice handling cases involving premises liability, construction site negligence, and product liability. Over the years, he has recovered multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts in a countless number of cases. Due to his diligence and dedicated work ethic, he has been listed in Illinois Super Lawyers®.

Before becoming a committed personal injury lawyer, Mr. Morici served as an Assistance State Attorney for the Cook County State Attorney’s Office. Not too long after, he secured a position as the First Chair Prosecutor at the Criminal Courts Building. In 1987, he resigned in order to pursue his passion for personal injury law.

Before committing his life to judiciary work, Mr. Morici attended DePaul University where he completed his undergraduate coursework. Upon earning his undergraduate degree, he moved on to enroll at ITT/Chicago-Kent College of Law where he completed his Juris Doctorate with the highest honors.

Currently, he is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Because he is passionate about passing on his legal knowledge to those who have a passion for law, he has served as an adjunct faculty professor at the John Marshall Law School, Loyola University School of Law, and Triton College. Additionally, Mr. Morici has obtained a 10.0 Superb Avvo Rating and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
